After graduating Hasmonean High School as Head Boy, Rafi moved to Israel for 10 years where he studied and taught in various Talmudic institutions across the spectrum. Rafi met his wife Chevi, from Johannesburg, whilst they were both studying in Israel. He completed a Bachelors in Liberal Arts and an MBA from Bar Ilan University.
Rafi received his Rabbinic ordination at the Jerusalem Kollel and was also trained by the illustrious Rabbi Barry Klein in methods of education, coaching and mentoring.
Rafi loves playing sports, travelling, strumming his guitar and is always up for a ‘kumzits.
Rafi joined Aish UK in 2021 as an Aish Schools educator and since 2023 is also a Level Up educator too, working with students, university students and young professionals.
