Jade was born and raised in Cape Town and recently moved to London to head up the Young Professionals event space. She is responsible for planning, managing and executing all YP events and trips and hopes to create a space where young professionals can connect, learn and be inspired—because who says networking can’t be fun?
Jade graduated from The University of Cape Town with her Honours in Organizational Psychology and went on to work as a hotel manager. She began her journey in London working for a South African store selling biltong and other South African goods (Can take the girl out of SA…). Following this, Jade begun working at Aish and the rest is history!
Jade has remained super involved in the Jewish community, taking up roles as a madricha for youth movements back home and partaking in many other Jewish initiatives such as the Diller Leadership Program and Ohrsom learning opportunities.
With a knack for planning a good trip, Jade spends most of her time dreaming of a good holiday (look out for more of this on our Instagram). She also really enjoys going to gym or relaxing with a good book. She remains dedicated to providing YPs with meaningful ways to connect to their Judaism and find a sense of belonging within the community.
