About this course
In todays society, words and language are used so interchangeably that they have lost their intrinsic meaning. But what if there was a language of such depth and beauty that its significance and potency endured for millenia? What if not just the words but the constuct of the letters themselves contained the blueprint for all of reality? In this course we will learn how just like in chemstry, the table of elements gives us a code to describe the molecular structure of the universe around us; so too the Hebrew letters give us the keys to unlocking the wisdom of the Hebrew alphabet.
Gideon attained a BSc (Hons) in Psychology at the Open University and went on to do an MA in Jewish Education at Middlesex University/LSJS. His interests include philosophy as well as reading up on history, politics and current affairs.
In 2016, Gideon and his family moved to Birmingham to run the Aish campus branch, before moving to London to become the Director of Campus programming nationwide. Gideon lives in Hendon with his wife Tamar and their three children.

The Hebrew alphabet contains within it the mysteries of all life. Meet your instructor, Rabbi Gideon Goldwater, and how he came to uncover the depth behind the letters.
Each letter has a corresponding number. In this video, Gideon explores the significance behind the numerology of the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet.
Why do some letters come before others? Who decided the order of the alphabet and is there any significance behind it? Gideon explores this question and gives practical examples behind this mystery.
Is there any significance behind the shape of each letter? Gideon shows how some letters are shapes and other letters are a construct of two different letters, and what the significance behind this is.
Each letter has a name. In this episode, Gideon gives some examples and shows yet another aspect of how each letter contains an infinite wisdom within.
Once we begin to see the wisdom behind each and every letter, we can begin to understand the depth behind every word, and every prayer.
